The Canadian North has always held a romantic fascination for me, unlimited wilderness, challenge, adventure, mystery..... once over the invisible line that seperates it from the south the air is suddenly clearer, colours brighter, the landscape more open and alive.... treeplanting, always an adventure in its own right, has taken me accross this line more often than any other occupation and for that i am eternally grateful.....
